Menards Chevy Show Updates 2017 Schedule to Bring Televised Events to California, Louisiana, and Florida

The month of November will be busy for the Menards Chevy Show.  In addition to the weekly TV show airing at 9:30 A.M. EST on Saturday mornings, on-site events will take place in California, Louisiana, and Florida on consecutive weekends from November 4th through the 18th.

The recent summer heat wave caused other events at Bakersfield to push the Chevy event back to the first weekend of November, followed by the Shreveport, Louisiana event being moved to No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose bringing the series closer to Baton Rouge and New Orleans on the second weekend of November.  The third weekend in November will focus on a major car show at the final on-site location of the Chevy series from the “first-ever Ace Cafe in the USA – Ace Cafe Orlando. The famous lifestyle brand direct from London, was notorious in the 50’s and 60’s as the absolute mecca for those passionate about cars, bikes and rock ’n roll.”

The first four events of the Menards Chevy Show season have been produced and will start airing on Velocity, from the Discovery Channel network, on the last Saturday of September.  Twelve consecutive shows on Saturday mornings will make up the 2017 broadcasts which have enjoyed tremendous growth reaching a TV audience of 2.4 million viewers last season.

Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, and No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose have both hosted Chevy series events in the past, but it will be an inaugural event for the new Ace Cafe Orlando, the first-ever North American outpost of the famed London-based Ace Cafe motor-diner.  “Fans of Chevrolet show cars, great food, music, and atmosphere will enjoy an incredible Menards Chevy Show at Ace Cafe Orlando” stated Mark McKee, CEO of Ace Cafe North America.  “Ace Cafe Orlando has been open since May, and we have already seen many car enthusiasts participating in our daily car meets. My guess is that they’ll be thrilled to be a part of this nationally-televised event.”
